Canine Specialty Surgery - W. Todd Allen, DVM

Surgical decisions can be emotional and expensive.

The big questions on everyone's mind: Is it necessary? Are there less invasive options?  What are the chances of success? What is the best procedure? How much can I expect to spend? How long is recovery? What would you recommend if it were your pet? (Yes, we are pet guardians also!)

Often, an experienced second opinion can reduce much of the anxiety associated with making surgical decisions and allow you to move forward with confidence.

In order to provide the best options for your friend, a review of the available information including x-rays and other diagnostics is necessary.  Due to the time involved in gathering and reviewing all aspects of your pet's disorder, an initial consult fee of $75 is required. Occasionally, a hands-on exam may be recommended at one of the preferred clinics in the St. Louis area (see the "A" list) and can be arranged for an additional fee.
